IT Field Technician (JN -072026-425729) Boardman, Oregon Salary: USD30 - USD33 per hour IT Field Technician II Location: Boardman, OR (Onsite) Duration: 4-Month Contract with Potential Extension Pay Rate: $33–$36/hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, including on-call rotation (approximately 1 week every 6 weeks) Ledgent Technology is partnering with a valued client to hire an IT Field Technician II to provide temporary coverage during an employee leave of absence. This role will provide hands‑on technical support for hardware, software, scan guns, and peripheral devices while ensuring excellent customer service and operational continuity. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. Provide end‑user support via phone, email, remote access, and in‑person assistance. Log, track, and resolve service tickets, escalating issues as needed. Participate in an after‑hours on‑call rotation. Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and compliance with security standards (PCI, SOX, GAP). Train users on technology tools and best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to improve processes and support services. Travel occasionally to other company locations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 5+ years of IT support experience, including Microsoft technologies. 2+ years of experience in a compliance‑focused environment. Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCITP, or similar) preferred. Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed. Availability for occasional weekend and after‑hours work.
