Associate of Investor Relations

We are hiring one Associate, and we are hiring them to become a Director. Not a bullpen seat. One person with a real sales career behind them, willing to spend a year on the phones to get into this industry...because that is the fastest legitimate path into the highest-earning seats here. The first year is demanding and we will not soften it. 150+ outbound calls a day to accredited investors from leads we provide, setting appointments for our Directors and EVP of Investor Relations. Most calls will not go your way. The people who succeed here pick up the phone again anyway. Why the grind is worth it Our Directors raise capital from high-net-worth investors and family offices, and the ceiling on that role is high. Directors get there on relationships investors trust and Associates become Directors by building the product knowledge to earn that. We will be straight with you about where you stand and give you the tools to improve. Who we are Basin Ventures is a private upstream oil and gas capital formation platform in Southlake. Four consecutive funds, each larger than the last. Independent CPA oversight, monthly and on-site. Management with 25 years in the space. You will not be cold calling for a company nobody has heard of. You will have a real track record behind you on every call. What we need A real sales track record...not your first job. You have carried a number and hit it. Verifiable daily call volume. We will ask you to back up the number. Proof you can build and keep a client relationship over time, not just close a transaction. That is the part that becomes the Director role. Professional presence with sophisticated investors. DFW-based and in our Southlake office five days a week. This role is not remote and will not become remote. Compensation $50,000 base, guaranteed, plus discretionary quarterly bonuses.
