As an Accounting Analyst, you're not just supporting the hotel's financial operations – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.Here's what you'll do during a typical day:Perform essential accounting functions: Execute tasks across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Accounting to support financial operationsAddress questions and disputes: Research and respond to inquiries and partner with internal and external parties to resolve disputes promptlyParticipate in financial reporting: Assist with the production of monthly accounts, month-end responsibilities, and internal controls over financial dataAssist with financial communication: Report financial results and aid in understanding financial matters for both internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate for success: Build and maintain cooperative relationships with other finance and corporate departmentsAccounts Payable (AP) role focuses on managing vendor payments and ensuring accurate tracking of the hotel's expenses. Process invoices from vendors (food suppliers, housekeeping, utilities, etc.) Match invoices with purchase orders (POs) and receiving documents (3-way match) Verify accuracy of pricing, quantities, and approvals and Code invoices to the correct general ledger (GL) accountsAt Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
