South Balkans Data Center Segment Leader

The Data Center Segment Leader is responsible for driving Schneider Electric's Data Center business growth across the South Balkans region, owning the segment strategy, pipeline development, and key account engagement for data center infrastructure solutions (power, cooling, racks, software, and services). This role acts as the segment's commercial and technical anchor, working closely with channel partners, end users, consultants, and internal stakeholders to position Schneider Electric as the partner of choice for colocation, hyperscale, enterprise, and edge data center projects in the region.Key ResponsibilitiesSegment Strategy & Growth: Define and execute the South Balkans Data Center segment go-to-market strategy, identifying priority accounts, verticals (colocation, hyperscale/neocloud, enterprise, edge), and growth pockets aligned with regional market dynamics.Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline across the full data center lifecycle (power distribution, UPS, cooling, racks, DCIM/software, services), ensuring accurate forecasting and funnel discipline.Key Account Engagement: Develop and manage relationships with strategic data center end users, developers, and investors, positioning Schneider Electric solutions early in the design and procurement cycle.Ecosystem & Channel Collaboration: Partner with EcoXpert and other channel partners, system integrators, and consultants to extend market reach and ensure solution design compliance with Schneider Electric standards.Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with pre-sales/solution architects, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure technical proposals, pricing, and commercial terms meet customer and internal margin requirements.Industry Representation: Represent Schneider Electric at industry events, associations, and forums relevant to the data center ecosystem in the South Balkans.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Εlectrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Master's degree is a plus).5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure sales, business development, or technical sales, ideally within power, cooling, or IT infrastructure industries.Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with data center end users or channel ecosystems.Strong understanding of data center power and cooling architecture (UPS, PDU, cooling systems, racks, DCIM).Fluency in Greek and English; additional regional languages a plus.Willingness to travel across the South Balkans region.Existing network within the South Balkans data center, colocation, or hyperscale ecosystem.Key CompetenciesStrategic account planning and consultative sellingCross-functional collaboration and influence without direct authorityResilience and adaptability in a fast-evolving, high-growth segment Strong communication and executive presence with C-level customers and partnersWhat's in it for me?Direct access to C-level customers and high-impact strategic projectsCareer growth opportunities with training, mentorship, and clear advancement pathwaysCollaborative culture that values innovation, autonomy, and professional judgmentFlexibility and support to help you thrive both professionally and personallyBring your strategic sales expertise to a team that's ready to welcome you — apply today!At Schneider, we believe that every employee is a talent who deserves equal opportunities.
