Employment Defense Attorney - Litigation & Advisory

A well-known California-based law firm with 200+ attorneys is hiring an Employment Defense Associate Attorney to join its team. This role offers a hybrid schedule with at least 2 days onsite. What you will do: Approximately 60% litigation / 40% transactional employment law Handle employment defense litigation in state and federal courts Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Assist with workplace investigations Support employment advisory work, including handbook and policy drafting Partner with clients on day-to-day employment issues Hours: 1850 yearly billable requirement Compensation: Salary range: $140,000 to $225,000 DOE Monthly productivity bonuses and annual discretionary bonuses Average annual associate bonus: $25K Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA & FSA options, 401 (k) with firm profit-sharing contribution (based on total compensation with a firm-funded contribution of 9.3%), unlimited PTO, sick time, paid holidays, and more!
