ELECTRICIAN

JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. This role requires knowledge of electrical systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety standards.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSInspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.Identify electrical problems using testing devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters.Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.Install, repair, and maintain 480V and 3-phase electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control centers, control panels, and plant lighting systems.Ensure all work complies with National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E standards, and relevant local/state electrical codes.Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical panels, control circuits, switchgear, and backup power systems (e.g., generators, UPS units).Support electrical project planning and provide accurate estimates for labor, materials, and timelines.Participate in safety audits and training initiatives, ensuring compliance with LOTO procedures, and promoting a safety-first culture.Recommend upgrades to improve energy efficiency and equipment reliability.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; elevated noise levels and vibration.
