Field Technician Electrical & Power Systems

**Location:** Washington, PA
**Pay:** $25.00 $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
**Schedule:** Full-Time | 40 hours per week

This role includes travel to customer sites, primarily within the region, with occasional overnight stays required depending on project location and scope.

**Job Description**

Working alongside a team of experienced technicians, you will provide on-site preventive maintenance, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs for a wide range of electrical power systems, including:

* Stationary battery systems
* Industrial battery chargers
* Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
* Telecom power systems

This role offers exposure to the latest battery and power technologies, along with regular in-house, online, and vendor-sponsored training to help you become an expert in the field.

**Responsibilities**

* Perform diagnostic analysis, repairs, and preventative maintenance at customer sites
* Install stationary battery systems, UPS units, chargers, and telecom power systems
* Troubleshoot and repair battery chargers and UPS systems
* Complete field wiring and mechanical assembly
* Use multimeters and testing equipment to measure voltage, current, resistance, and specific gravity
* Accurately complete and submit field service reports documenting time and work performed

**Qualifications**

* Associate degree from a technical or trade school (Electrical preferred) **or** 3+ years of related technician experience
* Solid understanding of basic electrical theory and circuit analysis
* Valid drivers license
* Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in the field

**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Pay Range:** $25.00 $30.00 per hour
