About the Role:
Magical Star Preschool in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a warm, nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the youngest learners during their most critical developmental years. Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and daily progress
- Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including diapering, feeding, and nap routines
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive classroom culture
- Ensure compliance with Arizona childcare licensing regulations and center policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or ECE coursework preferred
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for ages 0–3
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Must pass a background check in accordance with Arizona DHS requirements
- Patient, compassionate, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
