Advanced Practice Provider

Northeast Internal Medicine Associates is seeking a dependable and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing nightshift hospitalist team. This full-time position offers a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule , providing an excellent balance between a rewarding clinical role and extended time off. Schedule 7 on 7 off rotation 6:00 PM-6:00 AM Combination of onsite and remote coverage, based on hospital and patient-care needs Position Responsibilities Complete hospital admissions and comprehensive history and physical examinations Provide overnight cross-coverage for hospitalized adult patients Evaluate changes in patient condition and respond to urgent clinical concerns Review diagnostic results and initiate appropriate treatment plans Collaborate with emergency department providers, nursing staff, physicians, and specialists Provide clear handoff communication to the daytime hospitalist team Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Maintain appropriate onsite presence during the in-house portion of the shift Qualifications Active or eligible state licensure Acute-care, hospitalist, emergency medicine, or internal medicine experience preferred New graduates with strong clinical skills and an interest in hospital medicine are encouraged to applyComfortable working independently while collaborating with a physician-led team Strong communication, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to manage admissions and cross-coverage across community hospital settings Proficiency with Epic is preferred What We Offer Hybrid onsite and remote overnight coverage Support from an experienced hospitalist and advanced practice provider team Comprehensive orientation and training Competitive salary and benefits Opportunities for professional growth within an expanding hospital medicine group #J-18808-Ljbffr
