Customer Service Representative (Open Enrollment Support)

Location: Louisville, KY 40299

Work Type: On-site Training | Hybrid/Remote Potential After Training

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Contract Length: 3 Months (Seasonal Open Enrollment Support)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to support a high-volume benefits enrollment season. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain call center experience, build customer service skills, and earn extra income during the holiday season.

In this role, you will assist employees and customers with benefits-related questions, enrollment assistance, and insurance program information while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle 30-40 inbound calls per day in a queue environment
• Assist employees, customers, and clients with benefits and insurance-related inquiries
• Explain benefits plans, coverage options, and enrollment procedures
• Process and record benefit enrollments accurately
• Research customer questions and provide timely resolutions
• Navigate multiple systems while documenting interactions
• Support open enrollment activities and related administrative functions

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience (in-person customer service is acceptable)
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable learning call center processes and systems
• Basic computer proficiency, including:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Web-based applications
  • Navigating multiple screens and tabs
• Consistent work history and strong job tenure

Preferred Qualifications

• Call center experience
• Insurance or benefits administration knowledge
• Open enrollment experience
• Customer support

Training & ScheduleTraining

• 3 weeks of classroom and nesting training
• Fully onsite in Louisville, KY

After Training

• Assigned a work schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST
• Shift assignment determined during training and cannot be selected or changed
• Must be available Monday through Friday within the full operating hours
• Required to work at least one Saturday per month during October, November, and January (overtime eligible)

Important Requirements

• Must have full availability between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST
• Must be able to work onsite as needed
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office
• Must be able to report to the office quickly if internet or equipment issues prevent remote work

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
