Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Bring your passion for supporting students’ communication skills to a contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year. We’re seeking qualified, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for exciting placements at several campuses in the Houston area. Be part of a collaborative educational environment that values your expertise and dedication to serving the diverse needs of K–12 students.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (license screenshot required with application)
- SLPA applicants must have a valid license; supervision to obtain licensure is not offered
- Prior school-based experience is required
- Full-time, on-site availability (37.5 hours per week)
- No SLP-CF applicants, please
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to complete district fingerprinting within three business days of contract
- Comfortable acquiring a laptop (cost reimbursed upon hire)
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions
- Completing all required documentation and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and supporting a positive school culture
Campuses with Current Openings:
- West: Briarmeadow
- Central: Poe Elementary, MacGregor Elementary, Arabic Immersion
- South: Cullen MS, Sterling HS, Worthing HS, Jones HS, Crespo ES
- North/Northeast: Eliot ES, Key MS + Kashmere HS (fall only)
Assignment runs July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027. All necessary onboarding will be facilitated to ensure you can begin supporting students smoothly and efficiently.
