Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Details Unit: 3B/3C Stroke Telemetry 34-bed, high-acuity medical-surgical unit Specializes in acute stroke and complex telemetry patients Fast-paced environment focused on evidence-based, protocol-driven care Strong emphasis on patient safety, rapid intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration Nursing Model: Primary and team nursing Requirements Current RN license ACLS certification required BLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Ability to read and interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips prior to arrival Experience caring for high-acuity medical-surgical, stroke, or telemetry patients preferred Strong assessment, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills About Sunbelt Staffing What you do is so much more than a job.
