Route Service Manager Role Overview UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to recruit and lead a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who deliver to multiple customers per day – ranging from small family owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for their location. Responsibilities Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors Build strong relationships with customers and elevate the team’s level of achievement in customer satisfaction Collaborate closely with location management to provide the best customer service and product programs Negotiate customer contract renewals Qualifications Business savvy individual who enjoys innovative ways to increase profit and grow customer satisfaction within their UniFirst location Results‑driven relationship manager who isn’t afraid to roll up sleeves and help the team and the customer Enjoys working with and supporting a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors in their development Drivers of personal vehicles for business purposes must comply with minimum auto insurance requirements per UniFirst standards High School Diploma or GED – bachelor’s degree preferred Prior customer service experience Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle a variety of customer service situations Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team Strong computer proficiency (MS Office) Excellent verbal and written communication skills At least 21 years of age Valid non‑commercial driver’s license in the state of residence Must meet pre‑employment DOT physical requirements Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Benefits & Perks 401(k) with Company Match Profit Sharing Health Insurance Employee Assistance Program Life Insurance Paid Time Off Direct Payroll Deposit Tuition Reimbursement 30% Employee Discount Employee Referral Bonuses UniFirst is an equal opportunity employer.
