Cybersecurity Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the water solutions industry, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be part of the IT Security Department supporting the cybersecurity initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid) What's the Job? Design, review, and recommend security solutions to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, and systems. Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle. Configure, deploy, and manage security tools such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-malware solutions, and endpoint security platforms. Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT Engineering, or Computer Science, or relevant work experience. 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles focusing on engineering, architecture, and incident management. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners. Hands-on technical experience with problem-solving and analytics skills.
