We are currently seeking a candidate with a passion for excellent customer service and outstanding hospitality to join our team as the Building Services Director.As the Building Services Director, you will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members! You will be responsible for overseeing the entire Building Services department on our campus. You will coordinate and supervise the various Building Services projects throughout our community. This includes things like apartment and home refurbishment; landscaping and grounds keeping; housekeeping; electrical maintenance and installation; heating and cooling systems; ordering project parts/supplies; ensuring all state and federal codes are met; and maintaining the Building Services budget.The ideal candidate will be someone who: • Is compassionate and works with integrity • Has a drive to succeed and to achieve financial security (approaches their job as if it is own business) • Has a desire to learn new things (our industry, services, processes) • Is motivated to help and serve others (this is what gets them out of bed in the morning)Additionally, successful candidates will have: • Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education and experience in the trade services • 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or a related field • Successful previous record of responsible stewardship of a multi-faceted budget • Previous positions must demonstrate increasingly responsible experience in large campus management and 5+ years’ experience managing staff • Strong understanding of building systems to include: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, Life Safety, carpentry, painting, floor coverings, etc. • Possession of valid driver's LicenseBenefits:Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
