Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Unit Location Chattanooga, TN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, equivalent of every other weekend required. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Unit is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in daily rounds to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. Administer medications, including IV drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone. Monitor patients and maintain telemetry standards. Document telemetry applications, rhythm strips, and patient care activities accurately in the Meditech system. Engage in bedside rounding and hourly rounding with 5Ps checked. Coordinate care with other healthcare providers to meet patient needs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Cardiac knowledge and experience preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
