Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $1,925 per week (Hiring Immediately)

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 9 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 AP rooms, 3 ORs · Patient Ratios : 1:1-2 laboring, 1:2-3 AP, 1:1 c/s and PACU · Unit staffing description- OB tech always in staffing for scrubbing c/s and assisting with vaginal deliveries, 1 dedicated charge nurse to assist with triage and transport (baby nurse), 1 unit secretary 0700-2300 · Type of equipment : · Documentation system: Meditech and Centricity · Scheduling requirements: 3 shifts/week, if working during the winter holidays must work 1-2 days or eves · Floating policy: possible to float to Mother Baby but not frequently. Will not float to any other department · Patient Experience requirements: Must have : 2 years of L&D experience in hospital setting, preferably 1 or more travel contracts completed Advanced skills needed: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring Procedures performed on unit: cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement, vaginal deliveries, IV starts with lab draws, circulating cesarean sections, recovering cesarean sections (usually with spinal anesthesia but general anesthesia occasionally), Certifications Required: AWHONN intermediate fetal heart monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
