Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Emergency Room services for a travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, TX. This role involves working in a dynamic 16-bed ER unit, providing care to a diverse patient population including stroke, STEMI, trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric cases. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a 24/7 cath lab.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• PALS (AHA only)
• TNCC
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
