Title: Laundry Attendant Requisition ID#: 4106 Location: Waterloo, NY, US, 13165 Property: Del Lago Resort & Casino Pay Range: $24.39-$27.10/hour Job Summary Responsible for washing, drying and storage of hotel and banquet linens. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for daily washing and drying of hotel and banquet linens Ironing and steaming of items may be required Responsible for neatly fold laundry and distribute it according to company requirements Conduct general maintenance and upkeep of the machines, which includes cleaning machine filters Maintain safe working area by sweeping and mopping floors periodically Coordinate duties with other hotel staff Required Skills and Abilities Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contacts Work effectively in a fast-paced environment Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently Work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Required to stand for an extended time Education and Experience Attendants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of laundry and push heavy carts without assistance. Ability to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and crouch. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
