Location: Cookeville, TN Area
Permanent Direct Hire | Full-Time
We are seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a growing hospital respiratory care team in Middle Tennessee. This is a great opportunity to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a supportive clinical environment.

Respiratory Therapist
Location: Cookeville, TN Area
Permanent Direct Hire | Full-Time
We are seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a growing hospital respiratory care team in Middle Tennessee. This is a great opportunity to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory treatments to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
- Monitor patients receiving oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and aerosol treatments
- Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas collection as needed
- Assist physicians during emergency airway management and critical care procedures
- Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and home care equipment
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current RRT or CRT credential
- Tennessee Respiratory Care license (or eligibility)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred depending on department assignment
- Previous acute care experience preferred
