Senior Human Resources Specialist
The Senior Human Resources Specialist supports and enhances HR services and operations within Dell Medical School by maintaining and analyzing business and workforce processes and metrics. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, academic structures, and the unique workforce dynamics present in a medical environment. The position ensures process and operational between college and department-level transactions, while also providing strategic HR support and guidance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
- At least 3 year(s) of experience in performing business analysis and reporting in human resources in a hospital, health system, academic medical center, or health-related institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Human Resources or payroll experience at UT Austin and familiarity with policies, procedures, and University systems.
- Experience with Workday data entry related to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfer, or promotions. Experience working in a start-up environment. Experience in a fast-paced HR office.
Salary Range
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
According to Executive Order No. GA-48 of the State of Texas: for all positions that research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2), Business and Commerce Code, it is required that both candidates for employment and employees have the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure.
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time position; hybrid work is expected with limited on-site work.
- Standard office environment and equipment.
- Requires occasional travel to local, state, and national meetings.
