Cologne Academy (PreKindergarten-8th Grade Public School) Cologne, MN is located in Carver County and currently enrolls approximately 750 students between our onsite and virtual academy. Join a large special education team that is made up of: a wide range of special educators; on-site coordinator; school psychologist; school social worker; due process secretary; paraprofessionals and all related service providers. Applicants will have knowledge and experience in the following areas: specialized instruction in reading, written expression and mathematics; continuous progress monitoring; specialized instruction in some or all of the following: social skills, executive functioning skills, functional skills; IEP writing and conducting teacher components of special education evaluations; use of instructional technology; creating schedules and managing paraprofessionals; excellent communication skills for collaboration with general education teachers, special education team members, and for providing information to parents.
