Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal goals and enhance their functional abilities.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques to encourage continued progress outside of clinical settings.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, maintaining accurate records and adjusting treatment plans to ensure patient goals are met.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
