Job Title: Grants Accountant
Location: 3840 Hulen St., Fort Worth, TX (In-person)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible hours)
Dress Code: Business Casual
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Grants Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis with potential for permanent placement. This in-person position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within a dynamic environment. The initial assignment is expected to last approximately 3-5 months as a contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of grant accounting, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Ensure accurate tracking of grant funds and expenditures in accordance with governmental and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with program teams to facilitate smooth grant administration processes.
- Prepare and review financial documentation for audits and reporting requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of grant activities and deliverables.
- Assist with financial analysis related to grants to support decision-making and financial planning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with a focus on grant management.
- Specialized Skills: Prior grant experience is required; familiarity with government or non-profit accounting systems is preferred.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of advanced computer systems and software relevant to accounting and grant management.
- (Preferred) Master’s Degree plus one year of relevant experience.
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $28-$30/hr
