Job Requirements:
Board: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology
Licenses: Active Ohio License
DEA: Active DEA certification required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients from neonatal to adult undergoing surgical procedures in a Level 1 trauma center.
Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs in a care team model, including solo cases.
Manage anesthesia for complex cases including thoracic, neurosurgical, and orthopedic surgeries.
Perform preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative pain management.
Insert arterial lines and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues as needed.
