Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.40 / Hour - MUST meet hiring requirements in bold for hiring consideration Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures. Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: MUST possess 3+ years' minimum of military or law enforcement or criminal justice degree Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
