Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Special Education Teaching License, or eligibility to obtain one

Preferred:

• Experience with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, especially in a self-contained setting
• Familiarity with evidence-based approaches like ABA, structured teaching, visual supports, and behavior interventions
• Crisis prevention/de-escalation training

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver personalized instruction and IEPs tailored for elementary students with autism
