Production Supervisor

Manufacturing Production Supervisor - Multiple Shifts Open Location: Bellefontaine, OH We offer competitive base salary, benefits, supplemental pay and annual bonus potential. This position is a direct hire. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a production team while ensuring a smooth workflow, strict adherence to company policies, and high safety standards. Organize daily production activities, assign tasks, and meet all deadlines and production targets. Track process performance, workflow efficiency, and product quality; identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, and report critical issues. Enforce safety procedures and industry regulations to promote a zero-incident environment; participate in and evaluate 5S performance. Collaborate with Kaizen/TQM improvement teams and allocate resources to enhance production methods, equipment, and operating procedures. Coordinate across shifts and partner with Supply Chain Management, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality departments. Define and lead the team’s training strategy to ensure position redundancy and maintain an up‑to‑date cross‑training matrix. Maintain accurate records for time, attendance, and production outputs; generate regular performance reports. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 2–3 years of manufacturing production supervision experience. Experience overseeing at least twenty people. Willingness to work off shifts long term. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Preferred Skills (not required) Automotive manufacturing experience. Non‑union supervision. ERP experience. A strong mechanical aptitude.
