Vice President, SBA Lender

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a SBA Relationship Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client. Responsibilities: Originate and manage SBA loan relationships while maintaining a strong portfolio Assess borrower creditworthiness through financial analysis and due diligence Structure, negotiate, and present loan packages for approval Ensure compliance with SBA guidelines and internal policies Serve as primary client contact and cross-sell banking solutions Develop new business through COIs, brokers, and networking Maintain accurate reporting and stay current on market and regulatory changes Collaborate internally and participate in community engagement and ongoing training Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field 3+ years of experience in SBA or commercial lending Strong knowledge of SBA programs (7(a), 504) and related regulations Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk Experience structuring and closing complex loan transactions Strong business development and relationship management skills Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Lewis James Professional is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
