Job description:
The position reports to the Owner and CPA is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions, as required.
Requirements:
Education (combined 7 years’ experience between education/work experience)
· Working knowledge of Sage is a must
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
Ability to work well with internal and external contacts
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Duties:
- Audit AR/AP
- Updating/understanding the GL – preparing journal entries for fixed assets, depreciation, etc.
- Run monthly trial balance and adjust accordingly
- Provide owners with monthly financial reports – balance sheet, income statement, equity, etc.
- Banking needs – prepare bank deposits, reconciling bank statements
- Administration of quarterly business and payroll taxes
- Maintain required business documents
- Update & Maintain business procedures
- Perform other related duties as may be requested by owner
Professional Development: Attend product knowledge seminars as offered.
