Job Summary: Pre Op Registered Nurse (PRE OP) Dallas, Texas
The organization is seeking a Pre Op Registered Nurse to support an Adult Day Surgery unit during the day shift. This role focuses on preoperative assessment and preparation workflows, including pre-admission testing activities and post-procedure coordination. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Meditech experience; ability to perform IV starts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience; pre-admission testing (PAT) experience; adult day surgery experience; familiarity with preoperative (Preop) and PAT workflows.
• Additional Information: Self-scheduling is available, with staffing adjustments permitted based on unit needs. The schedule requires working 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule period and working during inclement weather. No weekends and no on-call coverage are required.
• Responsibilities: Support preoperative preparation for day surgery patients, including pre-admission testing workflows; assist with IV starts; collaborate with the day surgery team to maintain efficient unit operations.
