About the Role Our client, a dynamic player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an accomplished Senior HR Manager to lead their Human Resources function in Welkom, Free State . This role involves a hybrid working model, offering a balance between strategic in-office leadership and essential remote capabilities. The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, foster employee engagement, and ensure a high-performance culture. You will oversee all HR operations, including talent management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational development. This is a leadership position for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving HR excellence within a complex organizational structure. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business strategy. Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and learning and development. Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on HR-related matters. Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization. Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, talent development, and retention strategies. Ensure compliance with all South African labor laws and regulations, maintaining a proactive approach to risk management. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion. Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance. Manage complex employee relations issues and disputes, ensuring fair and consistent resolution. Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement. Requirements Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic HR initiatives. In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and employment practices. Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Experience with HRIS and other HR technology solutions.
