Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager role will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the organization's accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls. In addition, this role will partner with highly skilled professionals across the business to ensure accuracy, drive process improvements, and support strategic financial decision-making. This candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about maintaining financial integrity and operational excellence. In addition, the person in this role will have the mentality to think like a business owner and take a proactive yet collaborative approach to accomplishing organizational goals. This position reports directly to the Controller or Chief Financial Officer.Responsibilities Will Include:Financial Reporting and AnalysisOperational ManagementCompliance and AuditTechnical and Strategic FunctionsManage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.Coordinate and complete annual audits.Provide recommendations.Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.Meet financial accounting objectives.Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.Requirements:Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor Finance ManagerAdvanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databasesAbility to manipulate large amounts of dataProven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to direct and superviseBS degree in Accounting or FinanceFerretti Search is an award-winning Recruitment Firm specializing in Executive Recruiting and Staffing.
