From now until the end of the academic year, your expertise will help balance caseloads and ensure that all students receive the care and attention they need to thrive. This role is ideal for a skilled professional comfortable working 5-10 hours per week and ready to assist a team of dedicated psychologists.
In this position, you’ll take on the full spectrum of school psychologist responsibilities. Whether conducting assessments, consulting with educators, or developing intervention strategies, your contributions will make a measurable difference for students and colleagues experiencing increased workloads.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure
- Experience working in educational environments, preferably with diverse student populations
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and data-driven decision-making
- Solid communication abilities to collaborate effectively with faculty, parents, and other specialists
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage a fluctuating caseload independently
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret the results for students needing specialized services
- Consult with teachers to develop evidence-based interventions and supports
- Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Offer crisis intervention and provide recommendations to address behavioral and academic concerns
- Contribute insights and assistance as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
