As a Day and Evening Shift Leader at Tropical Smoothie Café, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and positive atmosphere, delivering exceptional hospitality, and leading a medium-sized team of 6-10 crew members. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will ensure smooth operations during your shifts by coordinating staff, managing food preparation standards, and overseeing customer service excellence in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage a team of 6-10 crew members to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Manage cash register operations including taking orders and handling cash accurately using the POS system.
• Coordinate shift activities to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality service.
• Prepare and assemble food and smoothies according to brand standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and workstations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and sanitation policies.
• Foster a positive atmosphere by interacting with crew and customers with energy and enthusiasm (“Tropitude”).
• Perform additional tasks necessary for successful café operations.

Required Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work under State and Federal guidelines.
• Availability to work both day and night shifts as required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to use direct deposit for payroll.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems.
• Experience in food preparation and handling.
• Demonstrated team leadership and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
