Job Description

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing operations through the development, qualification, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and methods. This role partners closely with Quality Assurance, R&D, and Operations teams to support new product introductions, execute process validations, lead manufacturing improvement projects, and ensure efficient, compliant manufacturing performance in an FDA-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Engineering & Process Development

• Establishandmaintainmanufacturingdocumentation,procedures,drawings,andtechnicalrecords.

• Develop,implement,andimprovemanufacturingprocessesandmethodstoenhanceoperationalperformance.

• Recommend,design,andimplementmanufacturingtooling,fixtures,andprocessimprovements.

• SupportthesuccessfultransferofnewproductsfromR&Dintomanufacturing.

• Trainproductionoperatorsonmanufacturingprocesses,equipment,andprocedures.

Validation & Quality Support

• Developandexecuteequipmentandprocessqualifications,includingIQ,OQ,andPQvalidations.

• CoordinateNon-ConformingMaterialandCAPAactivitiesinpartnershipwithQualityAssurance.

• Supportcompliancewithregulatory,quality,andmanufacturingrequirements.

Project Leadership

• Leadmanufacturingprojectsandprocessimprovementinitiatives.

• Serveasprojectleaderforproductandprocessmodifications.

• Participateinprojectmeetingsandensuretimelycompletionofassignedactionsanddeliverables.

• Supportspecialprojectsandcontinuousimprovementinitiativesasassigned.

Operational & Technical Support

• Maintaintechnicalservicesandfacilitiesperformancemetrics.

• Prioritizeequipmentrepaireffortstominimizemanufacturingdowntimewhenmultipleissuesarisesimultaneously.

• Coordinatedailyworkflowanddelegatetaskstomeetoperationalobjectives.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervisemanufacturingandengineeringtechniciansasneeded.

• Supporttheselection,onboarding,training,development,recognition,andperformancemanagementofteammembers.

• Buildahighlyskilledandaccountableteamthroughcoaching,goalsetting,mentoring,counseling,andperformancefeedbackwhilemaintainingappropriaterecords.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegreeinMechanicalEngineeringorarelatedengineeringdisciplinewith 6-8 years of relevant experience ,orMaster'sdegreeinMechanicalEngineeringorarelatedengineeringdisciplinewith 2-6 years of relevant experience .

• ExperienceworkinginanFDA-regulatedmanufacturingenvironment.

• StrongpartnershipandcollaborationskillswithQualityAssuranceandR&Dteams.

• FluentEnglishcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbal.

• Strongtechnicalwritinganddocumentationskills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienceworkingincleanroommanufacturingenvironments.

• Experiencesupportingliquidfillingprocesses.

• ExperienceusingengineeringandprojectmanagementsoftwaresuchasSolidWorks3DCAD,MicrosoftProject,orequivalenttools.

Work Environment

Travel

• Approximately5%travelmayberequired.

Our pay is based on the role and the necessary skills and education to perform it successfully. The salary or hourly rate offered is determined by the role's specific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the work location which may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role.

Salary Range Information

$105,500.00 - $168,800.00 USD Annual
