Assist in determining donor suitability Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment Work in a plasma center serving patients, hospitals, and healthcare professionals through plasma-derived medicines and related services Requirements High School diploma or GED Superior customer service standards Ability to work a flexible schedule Interest in making a difference in the world Required state licensures or certifications where applicable Ability to comprehend and follow instructions Ability to listen to and understand spoken information Ability to perform tasks according to oral or written instructions Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups Ability to stand for 6 to 8 hours per day Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements Frequent foot movement; ability to infrequently squat, crouch, or sit on heels Ability to walk up to 6–8 hours per day Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
