Director of Fund Accounting

Director-Fund AccountingHybrid Work Schedule in Wilmington, DE (three days in office)Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ESTCandidates for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.Some of the things you will be doing:Manage client relationships including onboarding new clients, review of fund documents and fund set up and renewals of existing client engagementsUnderstand clients’ business to identify opportunities for additional fund services and cross selling of other CSC productsReview accounting records, financial statements and support schedules, including waterfall calculations (GAAP & OCBOA)Review SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468Review capital call & distribution calculations and lettersAssist as needed with internal teams with all client deliverablesEnsure that best practices are used by client service team and look for efficiency improvementsStaffing/resource allocation for client service teamCareer development and talent management of team membersManage special projects as requiredExtensive on the job trainingInternal responsibilities (status reports, time tracking, etc.)What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?BS Degree in Accounting, CPA or CFA preferred10+ years’ experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting and 5+ years of supervisory experienceWorking knowledge of US GAAP for investment companiesThorough understanding of key terms of fund documentsTech savvy a plus (e.g. advanced excel skills and ability to learn and navigate web applications)Private equity accounting software experience preferredAble to multi task and perform tasks under strict deadlinesExperience delegating to, training and supervising multiple staffExperience managing multiple client relationshipsStrong professional verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skills#LI-SP1#HYBRID#INDPCSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide.
