Summer Camp Math Content Teacher/ Teaching Assistant San Jose, CA Job Type: Part Time / Full Time Intended Start Date: May - August 2026 About This Role This part‑time position is designed for college students and entry‑level professionals passionate about education. The successful candidate will work with our Silicon Valley teaching team, focusing on delivering world‑class math instruction to PreK-6th graders while also engaging in operational functions such as operations and marketing. There is no prior teaching experience required; training will be provided. Job Responsibilities Teach engaging math lessons in English for elementary students using Think Academy curriculum (Lower Elementary, English, in‑person). Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment for 8‑16 students. Identify and address individual learning needs through personalized assistance. Grade homework and provide related teaching services. Maintain open and proactive communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress; conduct parent‑teacher conferences, hold office hours and provide one‑on‑one help. Foster a safe and respectful learning atmosphere for all students. Develop tailored math learning plans based on student abilities and goals, facilitating enrollment in short‑term or long‑term courses. Support daily business operations in marketing and business growth across the Bay Area. Requirements & Qualifications Open to all majors; training and professional growth provided. Strong knowledge of math concepts and problem‑solving techniques. Passionate about teaching and the education industry; mission to promote social development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology for instruction. Commit to at least one whole semester of teaching without interruption (Spring: Jan‑May; Summer: June‑Aug; Fall: Aug‑Dec). Responsible, reliable, team player; patient, empathetic, and motivated to inspire students. Available and willing to work during the scheduled slots: 6/9‑6/13 and 8/4‑8/15. Authorized to work in the United States. Able to commute to teach in‑person at San Jose or Cupertino campuses. Compensation: $30/hour teaching fee + $20/hour administrative fee.
