Our client, a leading and highly respected healthcare system in Texas, is seeking an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Plano. This full-time, onsite role supports a high-acuity Interventional Radiology department, providing 1:1 patient care and assisting throughout all phases of minimally invasive procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with Interventional Radiology and minimally invasive procedures. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. Administer medications and provide sedation monitoring as needed. Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary care teams. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within Epic EMR. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and quality initiatives. Participate in on-call rotation, including overnight and weekend coverage. Qualifications Active RN license required. Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required. Required Skills BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred). Experience working in a procedural or high-acuity clinical environment. Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Strong attention to detail and clinical documentation accuracy.
