Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the behavioral health department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff, ensuring they are delivering compassionate and effective care to patients Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve the overall functioning of the behavioral health department Serve as a liaison between the behavioral health department and other departments within the organization Stay current on industry trends and best practices, implementing new strategies and techniques as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to behavioral health services Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
