The Opportunity As a Senior Accountant, you'll work closely with Managers and Partners while taking increasing ownership of client engagements and advisory projects. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Review Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Analyze financial information and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations Assist with complex tax engagements and projects Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy Tax Planning & Advisory Research tax laws and technical issues Assist with tax planning initiatives and projections Identify planning opportunities for clients Support consulting and advisory engagements Stay current on changing tax laws and industry developments Client Service Build and maintain strong client relationships Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters Assist clients with information requests and planning discussions Deliver exceptional responsiveness and service Support clients throughout the year, not just during tax season Professional Development Expand technical tax and accounting knowledge Participate in continuing education programs Develop industry specialization expertise Learn firm best practices and advisory methodologies Build skills necessary for future leadership opportunities Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of public accounting experience Experience preparing individual and business tax returns Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred CPA license or active CPA candidate Experience with real estate, agriculture, or construction clients Tax planning experience Strong client-facing skills Desire to pursue future leadership opportunities Who Thrives Here?
