The salesperson educates our guests on the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. Explains service benefits and offers services for their vehicle. Provides Superior Guest Service by exceeding their guest expectations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Follow Service Standards procedures. Review vehicle inspection and advise guest on suggested and required items in accordance to MAP and BAR Review manufactures recommendations Review services guest requested, price & time expected Able to explain services and have guest sign written estimate. Ensure all parts and services are entered into the system. Ring Out the guest following the cash handling procedures. Answer telephone calls while adhering to the service standards Must possess a valid driver’s license The ability to follow all safety rules. The ability to appear for work on time. The ability to follow directions from supervisor. The ability to interact effectively with co-workers. The ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. The ability to accept constructive criticism. Comply with Centers Code of Ethics. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: All duties of a cashier. Greet Guests Drive motor vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions (with valid California driver’s license) Able to order parts Guest service calls All other as indicated by management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Have a vision correctable to 20/ 40. Have Normal Hearing. Be able to bend forward from the waist. Be able to assume a squatting position and return to a standing position. Be able to repeat all of the above motions over an eight-hour period. SKILL PREREQUISITE: Be able to speak, read and write English. UNIFORM:Black pants with belt, red polo shirt. Shirt is to be tucked into pants. Black oil resistant shoes and personal protective equipment.
