Systems AdministratorThe Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's server, network, cloud, software, and hardware environments. Working as part of the IT Infrastructure team, this position provides Tier 2 technical support and escalation assistance for IT operations while partnering with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support modern on-premise and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will help drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, improve service reliability, and enable secure, scalable technology solutions that support the organization's evolving business needs. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to effectively resolve technical issues across a variety of systems and environments. The goal is to deliver reliable technology services that enable business objectives and ensure operational continuity.Job ResponsibilitiesPlan and complete IT projects based on business objectives and departmental goals; coordinate tasks and timelines.Manage deployed software within the company.Management of server environment to include hypervisor and storage technologies.Management of backup and monitoring solutions.Assist with designing, planning, and deployment of solutions within the M365 environment to include: Entra, Intune, Exchange, Sharepoint, and Copilot.Provide guidance to users on best practices when leveraging M365 solutions.Assist with management of phone system.Assist with deployments and configurations of network equipment.Assist with information security assessments and remediation tasks.Assist with managing end-user training to promote IT security awareness.Ensure and follow safety requirements and standards.Maintain a safe, neat and orderly work environment.Perform all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Company's values.Report to work as scheduled, on time, and able to work entire work schedule.Perform additional duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilityAbility to relay technical information to non-technical users.Advanced level skills using computer applications (Microsoft Suite, enterprise software).Customer service skills; comfortable working with business users and technical teams.Project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Ability to meet deadlines and contribute to estimating timelines.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail oriented with a passion for and ability to continuously learn.Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to exercise patience and understanding.Possess a proactive attitude.Basic math proficiency.Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.Ability to be highly adaptable and responsive to changing business needs.Ability to work onsite daily.Possess a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to observe and identify details.Ability to work extended hours as scheduled, including weekends and an on-call rotation.Physical DemandsFrequent sitting, wrist manipulation, walking, and standing.Frequent sedentary work with lifting up to 10 pounds.Occasional medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds.Manual dexterity to type and operate office equipment frequently.Must be able to complete all physical requirements to perform essential functions.Education/ExperienceRequired: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4+ years of experience in an IT field.3+ years of experience in: Windows ServerHypervisors & Storage ManagementBackup and Disaster RecoveryM365 AdministrationPreferred: Certification: Microsoft 365 Endpoint AdministratorCertification: Microsoft 365 AdministratorWorking EnvironmentPosition is onsite in a temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment that will allow occasional remote work.Position is expected to participate in an on-call rotation.This position does not now or in the future provide immigration sponsorship.This position is subject to a background check.
