Dental Assistant

Overview Dental Assistant $18.00-22.00 per hour Monday: 11am-7pm Tuesday-Thursday: 8am-5pm Occasional Friday: 8am-1pm Responsibilities Provide chair‑side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory set‑up, and patient education. Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor’s direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software. Review the daily schedule and set up appropriate trays and instruments. Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines. Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs. Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA, CPR, X‑ray, and other required certifications. Qualifications Dental assisting certification or equivalent on‑the‑job training. 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered. Radiography/X‑ray certification for the respective state.
