Repair and Maintenance Technician Temporary

Essential Duties Under the general supervision of the Repair & Maintenance Supervisor, the Repair & Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning and repairing all available inventory based on company policy using the proper cleaning supplies and procedures. The Technician is also responsible for logging/documenting all cleaned/repaired inventory for proper record keeping. Responsibilities Reports to work daily and is ready to work at the scheduled start time. Must wear all safety equipment (i.e. back support and steel-toed shoes). Assess “dirty area” and prioritize cleansing/repairing of workload for the day. Ensure all team members and self are following proper cleaning procedures. Use appropriate germicidal disinfectant cleaner (e.g., sprayed and left on equipment for 10 minutes). Follow SuperCare infection control cleaning procedures for all contaminated labeled equipment. Contaminated labeled equipment. Un-bag equipment. Spray germicidal disinfectant cleaner; let sit for 10 minutes. Follow standard cleaning of equipment procedure. Dispose of rags/towels used to clean contaminated labeled equipment. Allow equipment/devices to run for 15–20 minutes for proper testing. If any equipment does not successfully pass testing, RM Technician must communicate with Supervisor for further instructions. Inspect/evaluate all equipment for possible repairs; send to manufacturer if extensive repair is needed. Log and document all tested equipment/devices by end of week (Friday) in the Google Drive file “Cleaning Log” (serial number, item number, description, etc.). Wipe down all surfaces in RM Department with disinfectant spray at the end of day in preparation for next business day. Perform any other duties requested by Supervisor or Management. Understand and adhere to all SuperCare Health company policies. Remain knowledgeable about all products. Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment. Education and Work Experience Graduate from an accredited high school. Must be able to lift and carry equipment and miscellaneous items up to 75 lbs daily. Other Skills Team player.
