Job Details Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133 Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room (ED/ER) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Schedule: 12-hour day shifts Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 12/19/2026 Hours Per Week: 36 Licensure: W2 travel assignment Job Requirements Valid multi-state compact license or Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred 0-6 months of related experience required; emergency nursing or acute care experience is highly valued Working knowledge of disease state management processes, the bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize, and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced clinical environment Completion of an accredited professional nursing program Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in the Emergency Department Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and unit guidelines Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-specific factors Prioritize care and perform nursing interventions appropriate to the emergency patient population Anticipate patient and unit needs in a fast-moving ED/ER setting Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team Document care clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record Support patient education, discharge planning, and timely referrals Participate in quality improvement activities, education, and required in-services Complete variance reports and contribute to safe, efficient patient care operations Apply now to join this Tulsa healthcare travel nursing opportunity and bring your ER RN skills to a supportive Emergency Department team.
