Cannabis processing is precision repetition.You will trim and weigh thousands of grams a week, scan and verify METRC tags,pack pre-rolls and flower jars to exact specifications, and keep your stationclean enough to pass an unannounced inspection. The product is regulated; everygram is tracked. The people who thrive here aren't the ones who go fastest inthe first hour — they're the ones whose 8th hour looks the same as their 1st. What you'll actually do Harvest & post-harvest Trim flower to spec by hand — consistent stem removal, no shake in the buds,no buds in the trim. We do not chase speed at the cost of quality. Pre-rolls, packaging, labeling Grind dried flower for pre-rolls; weigh and pack pre-roll cones to spec(0.5g, 1g, etc.) within tolerance. Pack flower into jars or pouches at exact gram weights using calibrated scales. Apply METRC labels and consumer-facing labels with zero mismatches betweentag, weight, strain name, batch, and test results. Verify your own work and a peer's at every shift handoff. Cleaning & compliance Clean your station, your tools, and the shared equipment (trim trays, jars,scales, scissors, grinders) to SOP every shift. Follow cleanliness and contamination protocols. Wash hands, change gloves, don'tcross-contaminate strains. Help with deep-clean rotations, and other tasks that keep thefacility audit-ready. Orderliness Your station is organized before you start. Tools go back where they came from.You'd rather double-check a label than ship a wrong one. You notice whensomething doesn't match. Steadiness under pressure When the harvest backs up, when a tag mismatch shows up at the end of a longday, when a sample fails — you don't spiral. You name what's wrong, documentit, and move forward. If you saw a coworker shortcut the SOP, you raiseit. If you weighed something wrong, you correct it instead of hoping nobodynotices. METRC records have to match reality, and that depends on you. You don't need to be the fastest, the most outgoing, or the most ambitious.You don't need to love cannabis (though it doesn't hurt). You do need to be thekind of person whose word is good and whose attention to detail doesn't dropwhen nobody's watching. What we don't expect Cannabis experience. We train. The plant is the easy part. A specific personality. Quiet introverts and steady extravertsboth do this work well. Speed at the expense of accuracy. Eligible for CCC Registered Agent status — we file the paperwork; youpass the background check (we do not disqualify for cannabis-only convictions). Able to stand or sit for an 8-hour shift, lift up to 30 lb occasionally,and perform sustained fine-motor work (trimming, weighing, labeling). Reliable transportation. High-school diploma or GED.
