In this rewarding role, you will work directly with students, families, educators, and community providers to identify and address concerns related to mental health, substance use, trauma, self-harm, and other barriers to student success. Working closely with students, families, school teams, and community providers, the SAP Liaison conducts behavioral health screenings, facilitates psychoeducational and prevention-focused groups, provides consultation on mental health and substance use concerns, and connects students and families to appropriate community resources. This school-based role is essential in promoting early intervention, student wellness, and positive outcomes by helping students overcome barriers to academic and personal success. The SAP Liaison also maintains accurate documentation, ensures compliance with program requirements, and builds strong collaborative relationships with educators, administrators, families, and community partners. Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization. Devereux is a drug-free workplace. Drug screening is required. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Education, or a related field. At least one year of experience in behavioral health, human services, education, or a related setting. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel between school locations. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Required clearances: Act 33/34, Act 168, PDE, and DPW/FBI Fingerprints. Preferred: Student Assistance Program (SAP) experience. Experience providing school-based services. Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use prevention, and community resources. Experience facilitating groups and working with youth and families. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Frequent computer and office equipment use. Ability to travel regularly between schools and community locations. Normal hearing and vision.
