We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established American manufacturer with more than a century of experience designing and building custom heavy-duty equipment for the marine, rail, refinery, and defense industries. This is a full-time opportunity to work on precision-engineered fabrications, welded assemblies, and one-of-a-kind projects where quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Fit, tack, and weld fabricated components while maintaining close tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, along with basic fabrication tools and machinery.
• Inspect finished welds and assemblies to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing work as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete custom fabrication projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabricate from detailed drawings.
• Experience welding stainless steel is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clean, cosmetic-quality welds.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.

Preferred Experience

• Custom fabrication and fit-up
• Thin-gauge stainless steel welding
• MIG welding experience
• Industrial equipment or heavy fabrication manufacturing
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

We have positions on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.

Pay is based of skill set and interview. $20.00 to $30.00hr.
